Sabato siamo passati a ritirare la mia bicicletta da citta' (quella col cesto e pure le borse) dal ciclista che l'aveva in riparazione. Benche' infatti cerchi di fare il meccanico della mia bicicletta, a volte i guasti sono per me troppo difficili da sistemare. Questa volta il problema riguardava i pedali.
Pur possedendo una bella bici da corsa (la mitica road bike comprata al Missing Link 8 anni fa) e una gloriosa Mountain Bike (il celebre B52 che mi accompagna nel Pedale-Maiale), ho sempre considerato la bici come un mezzo di trasporto molto proletario, e per questo affascinante. Di certo e' cosi', ma a guardare le auto dei clienti dello stesso negozio (che non solo ripara, ma anche vende delle bellissime bici), forse la sacchibelli-bici e' piu' proletaria di altre....
Last Saturday we went to pick up my city bike (the one with basket and bike rear bags) at the bike shop where we brought it the week before to fix some issues at its pedals.
We are happy users of our bicycles and although I have also a very nice road bike (the one coming from Missing Link at Berkeley) and a legendary mountain bike (the B52 I use during Pedale-Maiale travels), we use to consider the bicycles as the most proletarian way to move around...
I think this is true, although looking at the cars in the parking lot in front of the same bike shop, probably not all the bicycles are so proletarian...
